- Supporting programs for adults with autism spectrum disorder by adding to the staff ratio and increasing social opportunities as well as modeling appropriate social interactions

- Participated in meetings and development sessions/brainstorms to help determine how to best provide programs that service the needs of teens and adults with special needs in the community
- As volunteer coordinator, helped create a mutually beneficial relationship between the program and Nova Southeastern University School of Occupational Therapy that established a pool of volunteers to draw from
Movement N' Motion Dance Class for Children with Cerebral Palsy
February - April 2016
- Assisting children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities engage in the occupation of a dancer: stretching, following the dance instructor, learning new dance moves, creatively putting together choreography, and preparing to perform in front of an audience
Ataxia Support Group Start-Up

- Assisting a young woman with ataxia start a support group in St. Louis
- Duties included: help with set-up of room, develop support group flyer, assist in increasing awareness of support group in the medical community
Crown Center Dining Room

- Help set up, give out, and clean up after meals at an independent senior living center
Play with Girl with Autism Spectrum Disorder
September - December 2014
- Provide play with therapeutic principles for an hour every other week with a 5 year old who was recently diagnosed with high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and not able to afford services
- Through playing we work on finger isolation, hand writing, and emotional regulation
